In Good Company — the ISS student podcast
Thoughtful conversations with people doing interesting, meaningful and forward-thinking work — produced by students, from the first question to the final edit.

Made by students, start to finish
In Good Company is a student-produced podcast featuring thoughtful conversations with people doing interesting, meaningful and forward-thinking work. Students develop the interview questions, conduct the interviews, and shape each episode through editing and storytelling — building real-world communication and media skills along the way.
How an episode comes together

Develop the questions
Students research the guest and their work, and build the interview around what is genuinely worth asking.

Conduct the interview
A real conversation with a real guest — listening, following up, keeping the thread.

Edit and tell the story
Students shape the recording into an episode: structure, pacing, narration.
Listen in
New episodes appear on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Curious how students get to make things like this? Come and see the school.

Questions families ask about the podcast
Is the podcast made by the students themselves?

Where can we listen?
On Spotify and Apple Podcasts, free of charge.
What are the episodes about?
Conversations with people doing interesting, meaningful and forward-thinking work, chosen and researched by the students. Listening to one episode tells you more about the school's students than any page can.
Can my child take part?
The podcast is made by ISS students. Which grades take part in a given season, and how a student joins the team, is explained at the school.
Why does a school make a podcast?
Because preparing an interview, listening to an answer and cutting a recording into a story are skills a classroom rarely teaches directly. The finished episodes also belong in a student's Portrait of a Graduate portfolio.
